Vagina Dialogues

Women have been in dialogue with the vagina long before Eve Ensler gave us The Vagina Monologues (1996). Two examples include Shigeko Kubota's Vagina Painting (1965) at the Perpetual Fluxus Festival in New York City and Carolee Schneemann's Interior Scroll (1975), first performed at East Hampton and later that year at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado.
