Curator on the Move




"You are probably used to seeing mimes standing in various places making performances. This is an artist [Christian Jankowsi] who decided to make those mimes solid. So these are bronze. People were fooled by them and would go up to them and tap on them to see if they were actually real mimes or fake mimes or leave money for them, these performers, but these performers were actually bronze cast. Here we have Che Guevara, Caesar and the blue woman is from a Dalí painting."
